Sales of commercial real estate reached about $13 billion last year compared to $8.8 in 2015. President of the region’s real estate board, Dan Morrison, believes it reflects the confidence in B.C. and the Vancouver economy. The surge in commercial real estate sales might also be impacted by the introduction of the 15% tax on foreign buyers purchasing Residential properties.
